The latter has just opened a judicial investigation on the count of "attempted murder of a 15-year-old minor and neglect of a 15-year-old child likely to compromise his health or safety".
The mother of the child, who admitted that she had just given birth, will be presented to an examining magistrate in this context.
The prosecution also gives news of the newborn, "currently in hospital and in good health".
The children's judge will be seized of his situation.
The mother of the baby was taken into custody on Wednesday in the premises of the family protection brigade (BDPF).
