Invoice miss at Region Sörmland - thousands were sent twice

In total, about 7,000 invoices have been sent out to around 3,500 patients.

According to Region Sörmland, this is due to a mistake by the region's print supplier.

- There has been full pressure in the gear.

I can only regret that our patients become unnecessarily anxious, says Maria E Karlsson, communications director at Region Sörmland.

The region is now issuing information to those affected.

The request is that if you have received two identical invoices, only the invoice with a date of 19 July, regarding visits to outpatient care, will be paid in.

If you still paid in both - what happens then?

- Then you should contact the region and we will help and arrange for the money to come back, says Maria E Karlsson.
