Many institutions or enterprises engaged in housing leasing are faced with the problem of policy mechanisms but nowhere in the approval process.

Now the approval mechanism has been established through the "Opinions" to make the approval smoother; the third is to innovate and put forward the project certification.

The city government’s leading group for affordable rental housing or the authorized leading department will issue a certificate for the affordable rental housing project.

The project certificate facilitates the implementation of relevant preferential policies; the fourth is a series of support policies.

The "Opinions" comprehensively sorted out the relevant policies to support the development of rental housing, and also clarified the relevant methods for obtaining financial subsidies.   According to news from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, 40 cities plan to raise 930,000 sets of affordable rental housing in 2021.
