As TASS writes with reference to the Slovak media, the protesters are unhappy with the adoption of the law, which obliges people, when visiting public places, including shops, to show a certificate of a negative test for COVID-19, a previous illness or a certificate of vaccination.

The protesters say they "refuse to take coronavirus tests" and "declare a republican strike."

It is clarified that, according to the law, this procedure for presenting the relevant documents and certificates will be implemented in the event of a worsening of the situation with coronavirus in the republic.

Earlier it was reported that more than 160 thousand people went to protests throughout France on July 24 against the introduction of sanitary passes, which are being introduced due to the situation with the coronavirus in the country.

In July, Vitaly Zverev, a microbiologist, scientific director of the Mechnikov Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke with URA.RU about the importance of achieving population immunity from coronavirus in the world.
