At present, the South Korean side uses the Seoul branch of the ROK-DPRK Joint Office located in the office building of the Ministry of Unification to make calls. The specific location of the North Korean side is not clear.

  In addition, an official of the Ministry of Unification of South Korea also stated on the 28th that although there are many urgent problems between the South and the DPRK, the resumption of dialogue is the first priority after the resumption of communication channels.

The South Korean side will propose to the North Korean side to discuss the issue of building a video conference system.

  The Ministry of Unification of South Korea has built a video conference room in the conference headquarters in Samcheong-dong, Seoul in April this year. There is no technical difficulty in holding video conferences between South Korea and North Korea.
