According to reports, Antonov said: “The questions raised by the Russian authorities regarding cyber attacks have never been responded to by the US. They raised 45 times in 2020 and 35 times in the first half of 2021. We responded to the US 10 times last year. Questions have been answered twice this year. All this shows that the two countries still have work to do."
In early July, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a telephone conversation with US President Biden that although Russia is willing to jointly combat criminal acts in cyberspace, relevant US departments have not contacted Russia on these issues in the past month.
The United States previously stated that the behind-the-scenes of the recent large-scale online frauds may be Russian hackers. Although they are not Russian authorities, the United States calls on Russia to take measures to combat hacking.
