The searches, which were carried out by the police in the apartments of Dobrokhotov and his parents from early in the morning, are connected, as RT reported earlier, with a criminal libel case.

However, according to Dobrokhotov's lawyer, her client is not in the status of an accused, but only as a witness in the case. 

A criminal case was initiated against unidentified persons under Part 2 of Art.

128.1 (Slander) back on April 26 this year.

According to the Department of Internal Affairs for the South-West Administrative District of Moscow, an unidentified person, in an unidentified place, but no later than November 12, 2020, posted a tweet with "disinformation about the downed Boeing MH17" in the user account of Roman Dobrohotov.  

In the course of investigative measures, mobile phones, laptop, tablets, as well as the foreign passport of Roman Dobrokhotov were seized from the apartments

Earlier it became known that the District Court of The Hague is suspending hearings on the flight MH17 until September 6.
