Experts from the Italian Medicines Agency have confirmed the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine for adolescents.
On July 23, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved the use of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine for children 12 to 17 years old.
The method of administration of the drug will be the same as for other age categories.
