On July 26, local time, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez confirmed that the Cuban Embassy in France was attacked by a fire bomb and there were no reports of injuries for the time being.
Rodriguez accused the United States of inciting violence against Cuba and held the United States to bear responsibility for the attack.
Rodriguez wrote on social media on the evening of the 26th: "We condemn the incendiary terrorist attack against our embassy in Paris." He did not provide more details of the attack.
The International Media Center of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs subsequently confirmed that the attack occurred around midnight. The attackers threw three incendiary bombs, two of which hit the embassy, causing a fire.
Cuban diplomats put out the fire, and French firefighters and police rushed to the scene.
