He noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken "positively assess bilateral contacts at the level of special envoys."

“The coordination of efforts between our countries is aimed at achieving national reconciliation in the Islamic Republic,” the diplomat said.

According to him, "the interests of Moscow and Washington in the Afghan settlement are in many respects close."
