The alarm about a traffic accident came in just after six o'clock on Wednesday night.
A car drove off the road between Lidköping and Såtenäs on Wednesday evening just after six o'clock and collided with a tree.
According to the police's spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr, the driver had to be cut out of the car by the rescue service and then taken to hospital.
