“The Ministry of Labor of Russia has submitted for public discussion a proposal to celebrate Father's Day.
The proposed date is the third Sunday in October, "RIA Novosti quotes the press service of the department.
According to the ministry, the corresponding initiative was proposed by the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Anna Kuznetsova and supported by the Ministry of Labor.
Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade came up with a proposal to celebrate a new holiday in Russia, the Day of Quality, on the second Thursday of November.
