The Attorney General of Abu Dhabi, Counselor Ali Muhammad Al Balushi, issued a decision banning the circulation of a case of killing a person of three members of his family.

The decision also included the prohibition of expressing an opinion or commenting on the case, or mentioning the names of people in the context of commenting on the case, whether that was explicitly or implicitly, under penalty of legal responsibility, until the issuance of the indictment and referral by the Public Prosecution to the competent court.

The media and social networking sites had recently circulated a lot of false information about the case from non-competent sources, which caused confusion in society, and constituted a violation of social security, due to the random and irresponsible method in which information was circulated away from standards of credibility and respect for the privacy of the family. the victims.

The Public Prosecution opened an investigation with a media agency and a person for giving some false information about the investigations of the case without being specialized in this.

 The Attorney General of Abu Dhabi stated that the Public Prosecution has launched an investigation into the murder case and has taken the necessary legal measures.

He pointed out that the prevention of media circulation of the case comes within the framework of the legal controls that are represented in not affecting the progress of the case or compromising the security of society, in addition to preserving the rights and privacy of the parties to the case that are protected by law.
