A sandstorm in the United States was fatal to several motorists and their passengers.
Reducing visibility, it caused an impressive and dramatic series of road accidents on Sunday.
Eight people died in a 22-vehicle pile-up on a highway in Utah, a western state.
Unfortunately, the results are only provisional.
"Several people were taken to hospitals in the region, including at least three in critical condition," the Utah Department of Public Safety said Monday.
Children are also among the victims.
