The family appealed the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's decision to withdraw the activity compensation for extended schooling in both the administrative court and the court of appeal.

After several years of waiting, he and his family were acquitted in both courts.

- It felt great to know that you had won, says Niklas Flink.

- I hope that this ruling gives him an opportunity to study for a profession.

The Swedish Social Insurance Agency has stolen a lot of years for Niklas, says Niklas' father Vesa Jämsä.

Hesitant about continuing

But Niklas Flink is now 27 years old and has only two years until the support for extended schooling disappears.

He is now hesitant to continue due to time pressure.

- It may as well not have a definite time and that is the only thing that stands in the way right now, says Niklas Flink.
