More than 40 plants of cannabis discovered in the garden of an Alsatian

The gendarmes of Saverne, in Alsace, intervened at a private home Thursday, July 22 because he was suspected of cultivating cannabis in his garden.

"The search took place the day after an anonymous testimony informing us of this possibility", specifies

an internal source.

On the spot, at the back of the house, the soldiers discovered 41 plants of hemp.

Then, inside, 640 grams of cannabis.

The occupant of the premises, a man "in his forties", was taken into custody, auditioned, before being released.

An investigation is now underway to determine the charges he will have to answer.
