Heavy fires are raging in the western United States.

More than 2,000 firefighters are working to put out the largest fire in Oregon, which is so large that it has created its own weather system and whose smoke pollutes the air in New York on the other side of the country.

- What you see here are the remains of very hard work, there are many memories, says Bruce White and points to the charred remains of his house.
