Kurt Campbell, the Indo-Pacific Coordinator for the National Security Council at the White House, has said he supports dialogue with North Korea regarding the restoration of inter-Korean communication lines.

Coordinator Campbell said, "We support dialogue and communication with North Korea."

Coordinator Campbell did not respond to questions about whether he had heard of any news from North Korea.

According to an agreement between President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the two Koreas restored the communication line between the two Koreas that was unilaterally cut off by North Korea on June 9 last year from 10 am today (27th).
