A 54-year-old man set himself on fire Tuesday morning in the premises of the Grenoble hospital, and his vital prognosis is engaged, we learned from the police and the establishment.

The man was immediately rescued in the hospital's removal service, but with a vital prognosis, said Grenoble police, alerted around 10:40 am.
He was then transferred by helicopter to the burns department of the Edouard Herriot hospital in Lyon.
"We do not know why, how it happened," added the police who opened an investigation.
"The teams from the CHU who took care of the victim right away are very affected, and we give them all our support," said a spokesperson for the CHU Grenoble-Alpes.
