The Attorney General of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Counselor Ali Muhammad Al Balushi, issued a decision banning the circulation of the case of the murder of three members of his family, and the ban includes all print, audio and visual media, and social media, by natural or legal persons, whether they are parties to the case or neutral persons. .

The decision included the prohibition of expressing an opinion or commenting on the case, or mentioning the names of people in the context of commenting on the case, whether explicitly or impliedly, under penalty of legal responsibility, until the issuance of the indictment and referral by the Public Prosecution to the competent court.

The media and social networking sites had circulated a lot of false information about the case from non-competent sources, which caused confusion in society, and constituted a violation of social security, given the random and irresponsible method in which the information was circulated, away from standards of credibility and respect for the privacy of the family the victims.

The Public Prosecution opened the door to an investigation with one of the media outlets, and a person, for giving some false information about the investigations of the case, without being competent to do so.
