Senior civil servants are often occupied by men, even though more than 60% of civil servants are women.

The Minister of Transformation and the Public Service, Amélie de Montchalin, guest on Europe 1 Tuesday morning, wants to put equality at the heart of the reform of the senior civil service.

For the first time, positions of responsibility in the senior civil service are held 42% by women.

A result that delighted Amélie de Montchalin.

"In 2020, we broke the glass ceiling," she exclaimed.

The Minister of Transformation and Public Service was the guest of Europe Matin, Tuesday.

"In 2020, for the first time in our history, we broke the glass ceiling. Among those appointed to managerial and managerial positions, we finally reached 42%", announces the Minister of Transformation and Civil service in Europe 1. It also ensures that feminization is at the heart of the reform of the senior civil service.
