A fire broke out in a warehouse for storing building materials and electrical tools, in the Mussafah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi, yesterday, without causing any casualties. The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense teams succeeded in controlling the fire and preventing the spread of flames to neighboring warehouses.
The authority stated that the firefighting and ambulance teams received a report on Sunday morning from the operating room that the fire had broken out, and immediately moved to the site of the accident, where it was brought under control, and cooling operations began.
The authority called for the need to adhere to the requirements of prevention and safety and to ensure the maintenance of fire extinguishing equipment, indicating that investigations are still underway to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.
