Shoigu held talks with the head of the defense department of Armenia

"On July 26, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, with the Acting Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Major General Arshak Karapetyan," TASS quotes a statement.

It is noted that the parties discussed issues of ensuring regional security, as well as "other issues of mutual interest."

Earlier, Shoigu held telephone conversations with the head of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan Sherali Mirzo.
