July 26, 2021 The alleged responsible for the death of a young Albanian, who was rescued in recent days in Piazza del Gazometro in Rome, was arrested in Genoa.

The boy died a few hours later in the hospital.

A 19-year-old compatriot with a clean record and a regular residence permit is in handcuffs.



According to the reconstruction made by the police, there would have been a quarrel unleashed over unclear business between the two Albanians.

The quarrel becomes a fight with the arrival of 4 other Albanians and here the victim was hit with a stab in the back by a boy who arrived last.



The alleged perpetrator of the young murder, probably feeling surrounded, was presented yesterday afternoon to the Carabinieri of Genoa who, together with the Mobile Squads of Genoa and Rome and in agreement with the local judicial authority, have subjected him to suspect arrest of crime for murder.



After the fight, all the boys had fled. The police tracked them down thanks to witnesses and camera images. The agents thus tracked down 4 of the 5 Albanians who had faced each other. 2 were reported two were reported for aggravated brawl. The alleged manager of 19, feeling surrounded, was constituted in Genoa.
