Supporters of the ousted Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi have demonstrated outside parliament in Tunis during the day.
There have been clashes with supporters of President Kaïs Saied, who was the ousted prime minister.
According to the news agency Reuters, the protesters threw eggs, stones and bottles at each other and riot police were allowed to keep them apart.
