The

environmental candidate

was invited to a discussion organized by the Central Council of Jews in Germany.

Speaking of racism on a daily basis, she told the story of a son of an acquaintance who refused at school to comment on a working paper that had the word “nigger” on it.

No one accuses Annalena Baerbock of racist abuses.

The candidate of the Greens for the chancellery was satisfied to quote this term.

But it is one of those discriminatory words that cannot even be used for certain groups, including the Greens.

In speeches or documents, we then speak of the "N-Wort" "of the word that begins with the letter N".

Annalena Baerbock posted several tweets to apologize.

In the recording of

the discussion

, the passage was replaced by a high-pitched sound.

In a party where questions of identity are essential, leaders themselves often find it difficult in daily life to put certain principles into practice.

The green candidate for mayor of Berlin had to apologize in the spring by speaking of a childhood dream, "to

be the chief of an Indian tribe

".

The recording has been replaced by a written passage condemning the use of a discriminatory term against indigenous populations.
