They will visit friends who moved to Eksjö last year.
- The pandemic stopped to be seen, but now we have finally got to come here and visit the city.
We have four children to entertain.
So we have bathed and the toy store is next in line.
Then there will be some good food in the evening, says Josefine Karlsson.
Tourist at home
To get more people to discover the Highlands, Eksjö municipality arranges a competition called "Tourist Home".
The competition is based on visiting at least six tourist destinations in at least three different municipalities in the Highlands.
Anyone who registers their excursions participates and competes for various prizes.
Aneby, Sävsjö and Vetlanda municipality are also involved in arranging.
The competition has been running every summer since 2019.
