The

National Police

is investigating a brutal beating of a minor in

Ceuta.

The young man is admitted to the hospital although his medical condition has not transpired.

According to

El Faro de Ceuta,

the young man was attacked on

the Ribera beach.

After the beating, he was transferred to

the University hospital.

The agents have not yet been able to take a statement from him, according to this same newspaper, which cites sources from the

Ceuta Superior Police Headquarters.

There is no information about the aggressors, except that there were several and that they fled after beating the young man.

The victim is a native of Valencia, although no details have been given as to whether he lives there or was on vacation.

At the moment no arrests.

The Ceutí Students Association has called for a demonstration "for the safety of Ceuta", against "the extreme level of insecurity" that exists in the city.
