Mikael Norman, who is head of land and development at the municipality of Köping, believes that there has been such a high opinion of the cultivation plots due to the pandemic.
- People want to come out and grow their own food, he says.
Due to the fact that so many are in line, the municipality cannot offer everyone a cultivation plot.
This is because about ten tickets get a new tenant every year.
This means that it can take over 16 years before everyone who is standing in line today can get a cultivation plot, unless the situation changes.
