The Ministry of Health named the Russian region with the largest proportion of obese people

"Obesity per 100 thousand of the total population: Altai Territory - 4530, the Udmurt Republic - 2475.4, Smolensk Region - 2457.8", - indicated in the collection.

At the same time, the smallest number of obese people in 2020 per 100 thousand population was registered in Chechnya - 335.4, the Jewish Autonomous Region - 419.4, and the Primorsky Territory - 419.5.

It is clarified that a total of 1.9 million obese patients were recorded in the country in 2020, which is almost 300 thousand less than a year earlier.
