It was during the night towards Saturday that the police received a call about assault in central Linköping.
When the police arrived at the scene, it turned out that a man in his 20s had received a wound from a sharp object in one leg.
Police were able to arrest another man, also in his 20s, after the incident.
According to Thomas Agnevik, press spokesperson at the police region east, the man was arrested on Saturday morning, reasonably suspected of attempted murder, which is the lower degree of suspicion.

Among other things, two other men are said to have been arrested for aggravated assault.
