At the beginning of the week, rain and more clouds creep up over the country.
Several areas with a lot of rainy weather pull up from the south over southern Sweden.
- It is a much-needed rain area that comes in on Tuesday, it can probably be long-awaited.
On Tuesday, it is mainly Götaland and Svealand that are affected and on Wednesday southern and central Norrland, says Ida Dahlström meteorologist at SMHI.
"Bring an umbrella"
There will probably also be thunder and elements of heavier showers in several places, according to SMHI's forecast.
In northern Norrland, on the other hand, the high pressure with sun and high summer hot air remains.
And SVT's meteorologist Pia Hultgren says that what often happens in the summer can be fragmented rain that is now coming.
- So there can be large amounts of rain in some places and elsewhere, where it may be needed the most, barely a drop, says Pia Hultgren.
- Expect a shower here and there, so bring an umbrella, she says.
