general spread across the

Egyptians ,

which they saw as

technically monster unworthy of

Egypt.

As soon as websites and newspapers published pictures showing a anthropomorphic butcher wearing a white robe dragging a sheep to the slaughter next to him, in addition to another anthropomorphic showing playing sheep, the Egyptians' usual stinging mockery erupted, which they considered a sign of a breakdown in the artistic taste of those in charge of the matter.

In previous similar incidents, tweeters circulated pictures of models and statues of historical and famous personalities that provoked ridicule at their deteriorating artistic level, to the extent that they distorted and offended the original character.

Tweeters said that the matter clearly reveals the lack of interest among officials in the civilized aspect, and that this indicates that the matter is taking place through compliments from officials to modest artists, while Egypt is full of hundreds of artists and sculptors whose artworks compete with major international works.

This monster is at the entrance to Cairo Airport!?

Why did we lose the value of beauty in Egypt?

Didn't the officials see what the Pharaohs left for us of the most beautiful structures, didn't they see the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the like, the buildings of Al-Ghuriyah and the beauty it contains?

The tragedy is that there are those who celebrate this ugliness đŸ„Č# Eid_Mubarak pic.twitter.com/GOSVIQtHM8

Faculties of fine arts are spread at the universities of Helwan, Alexandria, Mansoura, Assiut, Minya and others. They are not accepted to join them until after passing strict conditions for admission, including a condition related to artistic talent. Hundreds of students graduate annually, and their students suffer from unemployment after graduation.

Tweeters earlier circulated artworks by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Minya who considered them an example of precise sculpting, and considered them an extension of their ancient Egyptian ancestors who excelled in the arts of sculpture and architecture thousands of years ago, while historians commented that the eras of collapse in ancient Egypt were witnessing an artistic decline witnessed by few works artistic value.
