- The volume last night in Visby inner city last night was well above what is allowed, says environmental protection inspector Jonatan Levin, who measured sound volumes both outdoors and indoors between 22:30 - 02 around Visby inner city on Wednesday night.
And it was not just loud noises from the restaurants and taverns that residents complained about.
- Even the restaurateurs who have not received complaints play too loud without knowing about it.
So everyone helps to roll up to far too high volume.
At least eleven restaurants a bit everywhere in the inner city, including around Stora torget and in the harbor, have this summer received so many more complaints from nearby residents, compared to before.
