“Private” employees will return to work tomorrow, after the “Eid leave”

Employees of private sector companies and institutions in the country will return to their normal working hours, starting tomorrow, Saturday, after a “paid” holiday that extended for about five days on the occasion of Arafa and Eid al-Adha.

Earlier this week, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that the period from Monday, July 19 to Thursday, July 22 would be considered a paid holiday for all workers in private sector facilities, companies and institutions in the country, in addition to Friday, which is the weekly holiday for all employees, except for workers. Day-to-day.

According to the Ministry, if circumstances require the worker to be employed on this day (Friday), he must be compensated for another day of rest, or he must be paid the basic wage for normal working hours plus an increase of at least 50% of that wage.
