The ruling and opposition parties agreed to handle the second supplementary budget bill for support for small businesses and the payment of disaster aid at the National Assembly on the afternoon of the 23rd.
The amount of the supplementary budget agreed by the ruling and opposition parties was 34.9 trillion won, an increase of 1.9 trillion won from the government bill.
Disaster subsidy will be extended from the bottom 80% of income to the bottom 88% of income, and 12% of high-income earners will be excluded from the payment.
As a result, the last subsidy is paid by 250,000 won per person, excluding the top 12%.
The ruling and opposition parties also agreed to increase the amount of support for small businesses by up to 1.6 trillion won, including the recovery fund and loss compensation.
