  The meeting clarified that, firstly, we must organize relevant professional forces to mobilize funds and materials to support Henan's full rescue and disaster relief; secondly, we must increase support for flood prevention and disaster relief in key areas to prevent secondary disasters such as urban waterlogging and mudslides; thirdly, we must strengthen weather monitoring and early warning , Make adequate preparations to prevent disasters that may be caused by abnormal weather.

  The reporter learned from the Emergency Management Department that, in mobilizing rescue forces, the National Defense Directorate immediately sent two additional expert groups to Henan and Hebei to guide and help.

The fire rescue team mobilized 1,800 firefighters and 250 boats from the surrounding areas across regions.

At the same time, it organizes engineering rescue forces to participate in rescue operations, and supports the work of dredging, draining waterlogging, dredging roads, and strengthening embankments in key areas.

  As of 14:00 on the 21st, the fire rescue team had dispatched 23,700 officers and fighters and 3,121 boats to rescue 6,459 trapped people in distress and evacuated 15,300 people.

  At 2 o'clock on the 21st, the Ministry of Water Resources upgraded the level IV emergency response of flood and drought disaster prevention to level III.

After the emergency rescue, the water levels of the Changzhuang Reservoir and Guojiazui Reservoir in Zhengzhou, Henan Province continued to drop.

The water conservancy department stated that it will increase the risk observation of the dam body in the follow-up, continue to increase the excavation efforts, increase the discharge volume and reduce the water level.

  At present, my country is in the "seven lower and eight upper" flood season and the critical period of flood control. According to the forecast of the meteorological department, there are still heavy rainfall in some places recently.

  Chen Tao, chief forecaster of the Central Meteorological Observatory, analyzed: "Beginning on the night of the 21st, precipitation in the border areas of Hebei, Henan, and Shanxi has concentrated. Affected by heavy rainfall, it is necessary to focus on the flood conditions in the Haihe River, the middle reaches of the Yellow River, and the upper reaches of the Huai River."

  The Ministry of Water Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a meteorological warning for red flash flood disasters at 18:00 on the 21st: It is estimated that flash flood disasters are likely to occur in parts of southwestern Hebei, southeast Shanxi, northern Henan and other areas (Orange warning), the possibility of local flash flood disasters is very high (red warning).
