At Hällbyanstalten, they have on Thursday begun to return to everyday life after yesterday's events where two prison guards were held hostage.

Takes care of the staff

- We try to take care of our staff in the best way.

We have our own crisis support group that takes care of those who have been directly involved, but also those who have not been in service and who feel they need to talk, says Peter Kjellin.

How are the prison guards who were held hostage?

- They feel surprisingly well.

But it may be that some time passes before the thoughts and feelings come.

So we will follow up on this, says Peter Kjellin.

Do not agree that something has broken

According to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's security director Kenneth Holm, something has gone wrong, which has led to the hostage drama.

However, Peter Kjellin believes that this is not the case.

- Initially, I do not see that anything has broken, but the investigation must show that, he says.

The inmates have access to disposable razors, which must have been used for the self-made weapons that were used during the hostage drama.

According to Peter Kjellin, there are routines around these.

- We visit every day and if someone has more than the razor to use, we take it in, says Peter Kjellin.
