China News Service, July 22. According to the WeChat official account of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, recently, when the Chinese Embassy in Egypt reviewed the health code application for passengers on flights to China, it has discovered four cases of passengers tampering with the positive results of the test report without authorization. In the negative case, the 4 passengers all originated from other countries in Africa and were transit personnel coming to Egypt, and 3 of them were from the same country.

Another three passengers violated regulations to eat out and visit each other during the closed-loop quarantine period of EgyptAir, which brought a greater risk of infection.

The above behavior violated national laws and regulations on epidemic prevention and control and related regulations of closed-loop management, and caused serious threats to the health of others and public health safety.

The embassy has taken disciplinary measures against passengers who tampered with inspection reports, and passengers who violated closed-loop management regulations have also been disqualified from boarding.

In order to protect the health and safety of returnees, ensure the smooth and orderly return routes, and maintain the overall situation of domestic epidemic prevention and control, the Chinese Embassy in Egypt once again solemnly reminds passengers of flights to China that they must abide by the law, be honest and trustworthy, and declare their personal health truthfully. It is required to submit a true and effective test report and auxiliary materials.

For forgery, alteration, fraudulent use of inspection reports, concealment, false reporting of health status, and non-compliance with the closed-loop management period prevention and control regulations, etc., once discovered, they will be severely dealt with, and relevant personnel will be held accountable if necessary.
