The United States has set September 11, 2021 as a deadline to withdraw its military forces from Afghanistan.

Some analysts predict chaos in the country after the departure of foreign troops and the resumption of power by the Taliban who, to date, would control or already have an influence on more than half of the territory.

The United States Embassy in Kabul says it has 18,000 visa applications pending.

Paris for its part, decided to grant a hundred visas to Afghan employees of the French embassy in Kabul.

However, there are still several hundred former interpreters and auxiliaries of the NATO armies, including that of France.

Their visa applications have been rejected in previous years and they live like illegals.

They are asking the international community to come to their aid.
