Johan Rockström is Professor of Environmental Science at Stockholm University and Head of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.
According to Rockström, science has not been able to predict the extreme weather that is now affecting several continents, and the events are so extreme that they are difficult to explain with the help of global warming alone.
