"Today, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar was deciding the issue of extending the preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to Andrei Pivovarov," RIA Novosti reported.
It is noted that the court found no grounds to satisfy the defense motion and left the defendant in custody until October 29.
The arrest of Pivovarov at the Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg became known on May 31.
The Kremlin, commenting on the situation, stated that the claims of law enforcement agencies to politics have nothing to do with it.
