Lavrov said that Russia is guided by obligations to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the article of the Collective Security Treaty.

He noted that "in case of any aggression against any member of the CSTO, consultations are immediately held to determine the response measures in order to suppress this aggression."

"No one is talking about any targeted strikes on the territory of Afghanistan, and no one even thinks about any invasion of Afghanistan," Lavrov said.
