Juan Camino Londoño, the 19-year-old Colombian young man arrested last Monday afternoon for assaulting a toilet in the Madrid Metro,

lacked permission to reside in Spain and had several police records

for theft.

The arrested person remains in the central detainee registry waiting to be brought to justice on Wednesday morning.

The detainee had been living without permission in Spain for five years and has no family in Spain.

He had worked as a warehouse boy and in goods delivery

Now he had a rented room in Vallecas and he also sometimes slept in the apartment of an acquaintance in Villaverde.

According to police sources, the detainee lived in Mallorca regularly, but had moved to Madrid due to a legal claim in the Balearic Islands.

Specifically, he was claimed by a Palma court for a crime against property for

allegedly committing several robberies and careless thefts.

His first arrest when he was of legal age was in Mallorca last February and he had been arrested again in Alicante.

He is suspected of having several arrests as a minor.

Camino was arrested on Monday

The arrest took place at a home in the Madrid neighborhood of Villaverde when the young man was going to that house to collect personal belongings with the probable objective of hiding elsewhere.

She had changed her hair color and hidden her ear rings.

The events took place last Thursday night at the Alto del Arenal station on Line 1 of the Madrid Metro when the nurse at the Hospital 12 de Octubre reproached a passenger for not wearing a mask, which is mandatory on public transport.

At one point, the young man attacked the toilet with a sharp object and hit him hard in the face.

The victim was treated at the 12 de Octubre Hospital and, as a result of the impact on the eye, the victim has lost the vision in one eye.
