Today, Tuesday, more than 100,000 worshipers performed the Eid al-Adha prayer in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (Wafa), the takbeers were pronounced as the first day of Eid, amid large crowds of worshipers.

According to the agency, dozens of Jerusalemites held Eid prayers near the Lions Gate, after they were removed from the Al-Aqsa Mosque by order of the Israeli authorities, and most of them were activists who were stationed there.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, stressed the need for those coming to the mosque to adhere to health prevention measures in order to preserve public health, especially with the continued spread of the Corona pandemic and its impact on the lives of citizens and the world at large.
