Chinese media reported that at least one person was killed and two were missing in the torrential rains.




In Henan Province, 140,000 people have been displaced so far, and the economic damage is estimated at 73 million yuan, or about 13 billion won.



At an aluminum alloy factory in Dengfeng City, Henan Province, a large-scale explosion occurred when river water that overflowed from heavy rain came into contact with a high-temperature solution.



Factory workers evacuated in advance and there were no casualties.



China's meteorological authorities expect the heavy rains in the central provinces to continue into tonight.
