The reason for the restriction is associated with poor visibility due to an increase in smoke from a forest fire and the release of a fire into the right-of-way of the highway.
Earlier it was reported that in Karelia more than 600 people were evacuated from settlements due to the existing wildfires.
The region is raging 40 forest fires with a total area of almost 4.6 thousand hectares.
