Pegasus: many reactions and complaints filed around the world

Project Pegasus, the gigantic spy scandal revealed Monday after months of investigation, has sparked outrage, criticism and diplomatic tensions around the world.
Several tens of thousands of people have been spied on by powerful software marketed by a private Israeli company.
Software used by no less than 20 countries, in the overwhelming majority of authoritarian regimes, to track down, monitor and collect data from their political opponents.
The scale of the affair prompted many reactions and complaints.

In France, in shock, some media were outraged and called on the authorities to take up the case, others like
Le Canard enchaîné
and the Mediapart news site chose to file a complaint after the spy revelations of some of their journalists by Moroccan services.
The investigation showed that at least 180 journalists were victims of techno-surveillance in India, Mexico, Rwanda, but also in Hungary, the only European country on the list.
In question, Budapest and Rabat have categorically denied having used this spyware.

Latest revelation to date, Lebanon, where the President, the Prime Minister, Lebanese party leaders, but also Hezbollah executives have been the target of spyware at the request of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Will this new revelation among many others lead to strong actions?
At present, apart from
Morocco
and Hungary, no state has spoken publicly on the case.
