Police were initially alerted to a restaurant in Falun in the afternoon after an alarm that one of the men was carrying some type of knife.
- We were alerted to the restaurant but when we got there the four men tried to leave the place by car, says Gabriel Henning, press spokesperson at the police region Bergslagen.
Drove around in a wanted car
It turned out later that the people were driving around in a wanted car from a previous crime in Stockholm.

What we do know is that the car was stolen, says Gabriel Henning.
Shortly afterwards, the four men collided into the roundabout at Lugnet and then disappeared on foot in different directions.
- So far no one was arrested.
We are looking in the area, says Gabriel Henning.
Is there any danger to the public?
- No, but you should not act yourself if you see someone behaving strangely.
The best thing is to contact us, says the police spokesperson.
Looking for tips
The police want observations from the public that can help in the search for the men.
- The public can also notice that we are out patrolling the area around the roundabout, says Gabriel Henning.
The men are suspected of violating the knife law and it may be relevant with more headings.
