"The verdict will be announced on August 2 at 12:00," she said.

The prosecutor asked the court to give Calvey a six-year suspended sentence in the embezzlement case.

At the end of December 2019, the UK announced the end of the investigation into the case.

Calvey and other defendants are accused of embezzling 2.5 billion rubles from Vostochny Bank.

They do not admit their guilt.
